This is going to be a very short week, but there are a lot of things to accomplish. We soon will be on the countdown to Christmas Break and the end of another grading period. All of the grades I have right now have been added to RDS. Remember, final grades are calculated on how many 3 or 3+’s there are. There will be several more grades with proficiency scores added before the grading period ends. If there are any questions please let me know.
The ELA Acuity Predictive B will be given December 4 – 10. In preparation for this assessment, there will be daily review and practice the rest of this week and next week. The goal for this second Predictive assessment is to show some form of growth or improvement; therefore, hopefully the review and practice will help.
DECEMBER LUNCH MENU:

- Keep thinking of what resources can be made for HUSKIES: Behind the Books
Thanksgiving is a time for being thankful for what we have. I am very thankful for all of my students and 8th grade ELA team members for being so willing to take part in the HUSKIES: Behind the Books service learning project. The donations have already started coming in and it seems that a lot of other people are willing to help with this project too. Next week will be the start of ordering books, making resources, collecting donations, and just giving of ourselves to help others. Thank you everyone, students, parents, teachers, for all that you do each day to make education great!
